Intern – Zonal/Regional Sales

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Intern to support our Zonal/Regional Sales team. Over 6 months, you will gain hands-on experience in sales strategy, client engagement, and market analysis, contributing directly to Vidwath’s mission of advancing digital education in schools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in mapping and researching target schools in assigned zones/regions
  • Help initiate outreach—calls, emails, and follow-ups—to prospective clients
  • Support sales cycle activities, including demos and proposals
  • Collect and analyze data on market trends, competition, and customer needs
  • Track and report weekly metrics: leads generated, meetings scheduled, progress updates
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams for collateral preparation
  • Attend cross-functional meetings and support logistic coordination
  • Participate in mid-internship and final progress reviews

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related fields
  • Strong interest in sales, particularly within the edtech space
  • Excellent communication and basic negotiation skills
  • Analytical mind set with comfort working in data-driven environments
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting
  • Comfortable using digital tools (CRM systems, Excel/Sheets, virtual meeting platforms)
